"A Washington Post poll, taken a month ago, shows that nearly 70% of Americans believe that Iraq had a hand in the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

Do you believe these poll results?

Do you know ANYBODY that thinks Iraq had a hand in 9/11?

Yes. Why don't you know that? Its been reported in the media over and over again......countless times. Why are you self censoring this stuff? There are still people who believe Saddam had WMDs. Some believed he used them. So much for education.

You post like you are brilliant.....so explain that one. You posted earlier if only the Muslims were educated. Well, the US is one of the most educated countries in the world and there are people who still believe Bush's lies.

Give it a try. Ask ten people. When you don't get 7 'yes' answers, become skeptical of the pole results....

Really, Elroy, this is getting stupid. You want to believe a lie, go for it. You are starting to sound like some of mystics on this thread.

Not too many today... but if I'd asked that question in early 2002, I would've. In fact, if you'd asked me around then, I'd have thought so as well, because of all of the "evidence" that people like Dick Cheney said they had. That's back when I trusted the government a lot more than I do now.

Of course, I don't personally know more than five people who think that abortion shouldn't be legal or that evolution isn't a fact, but a good chunk of our country does.

My dad moved to Jacksonville, FL not too long ago and he says that most of the people he works with at Bell South believe things like that.
