If you read the article, you would realize that your position on torture is not the position of the US military. How many current members of the US military have actively participated in torturing a detainee. How many flies die in a single day in Iraq? And most importantly, where is your outrage? I don't believe the US military systematically tortures people to death. Of course you don't know that because you refuse to read any articles about the subject. That's the same way the Germans avoided knowing the fate of the Jews. I don't believe everything I read. What do you believe? I don't believe 70% of the US population believes Iraq was involved in 9/11. Good. Now you sound like your GOP brethren.....finally. They too don't believe anything they read in the mainstream press. However, they do believe the lies of Fox News. Is that what you believe too? I don't believe most Arabs think the US is 85% Jewish. I use common sense to shape my opinions of reality, not a fanatical anti-US outlook. I see. The problem of course is that your common sense is based on anecdotal, self serving, personal evidence. I am afraid that is not a very scientific approach so it means squat to me. But of course, you go ahead. BTW they have been telling us for years that the world is round. Do you believe that or do you still think its flat? I'm outraged that you seem to think a Sunni-Saddam oppressive government which was a pariah to the outside world is better for most Iraqis than the representative self determined system of government that the US is attempting to install. That's what I'm outraged about. Really. So then, torturing a man to death is okay with you. Thank you for your candor. And dude, don't post back that that's not what you meant. Because it is........the attitude and position you display in your post confirms that as fact even if your words say something different.
