Anything that 51 percent or even 60 percent of citizens want to do still leaves a lot of people out in the cold.

It would be nice if 60% of the registered voting population bothered to show up and vote on election day. My belief is that voter turnout is much lower than that. I interpret that as "a lot of folks have chosen to be left out in the cold by not voting".

I care about president, esp. major long standing president when the constitution itself is unclear and the decision seems just, but I care about judicial president less than I care about the actual constitution being followed.
