"Something like stagflation is possible, but its inaccurate to say that it is "hitting high gear", or even that we are in it at all at this time." Didn't say that it was in high gear now, or even present. There are some signs of it setting in, with our rather low rate of inflation outpacing wage growth, but it still isn't what can be described as stagflation. That doesn't really get started until treasury bond rates start going up because foreigners aren't buying them any more.
