Obviously Sadam with his oil has been able corrupt US companies: one better reason to destroy him.

In WW2 most people in Europe and the USA were most reluctant to go to war. The reason was the hard lesson learned in WW1. They knew war was bad where millions upon millions of peoples lives were ruined or destroyed.

If corrupt oil businessmen were the source of the problem here, the CIA could have quietly solved it with a single 22 calibre pistol and about 20 rounds of ammunition.
