Reality check: Bushies had Libya in bed with them even prior to 9-11. Cheney had the Libyan oil lobbyist in his energy task force team. That story just came out this week and I posted it. No wonder Cheney hid the task force records from the courts and public. Also because of dep Enron connections after the biggest phony energy crisis ripoff in our history.

Cheney's people falsified the DOD security report on Libya which Lt. Col. Kwiatkowski wrote to make it look like Gaddafi was still dangerous and anti-American. In fact, Gaddafi just wanted an oil deal, which he got. The weapons traded were stuff he didn't want and would never have used. It was just a photo op phony joke. Clinton could have made that deal 10 years ago.

Syria withdrew because Lebanese people demanded it after the assassination. Yes the US pressure helped, but any presdient would have applied such pressure. Just as any president would have invaded Afghanistan.

Kuwaiti women can vote, but not to replace the Emir. And Saudi Arabian judges and clerics still call for Jihad against the US in Iraq while Bush kisses the Saudi Prince on ths lips.

The voting in Iraq, while offering some hope, doesn't seem to have changed much. In fact things have gotten twice as bad since the voting if you look at the average terrorist attacks per day. It has doubled to about 70 attacks per day. Meanwhile, we can't recruit new troops, our military is exhausted and over-extended and the whole Iraq occupation plan has become a huge and unsustainable weight around our necks. We still don't even know who's attacking us there. Very bad sign a la Vietnam 1966.

Quit repeating the Libya lie at least. Get honest.
