The Leftists blew it for Kerry with their gay marriage drive, even though Kerry is against gay marriage. That was rude and unnecessary and of course galvanized the religious right. I agree, the left has to rein in their hatred and work with moderates to take back this country, that means moderates of both parties, not just democrats. I have been telling leftists this ever since 2000 when Ralph Nader (and Florida voter fraud) put GW Bush in the White House. Bushies are in power now because their far rightwing and moderates held their noses and agreed to work together. McCain and Guliani and Schwartzeneggar endorsing Bush even though they don't agree with half his policies. That was a key for Bush even though the moderates now have regrets they backed him. Kerry would have been much more palatable. Now it's time for the leftwing to get behind the moderates to stop the rightwing.

Iraqi: chaos, civil war. Progressives said: LISTEN TO THE MILITARY and put in 500,000 troops if you're really going to go. Bush/Rummy: spat on the US Military and spent $300 billion that we have to borrow from communist China to find NO WMDs. Rummy expected 30,000 troops on 14 permanent bases helping pump oil for Exxon. 158,000 are not enough, the coalition (including the brits) are phasing out or leaving entirely (including Japan who bribed Iraqis not to shoot at them) and even Myers said, 'we think' we're winning but we're not really sure. Oh yeah, in the last year we have made ZERO PROGRESS, per the US Military, against the insurgency. For all dufii: Elections DO NOT EQUAL DEMOCRACY!!!!!!!!!
