Kerry is not a liberal anymore. Has been semi-moderate since the early 90's. I think his mistake voting against the Gulf War woke him up. Ever since he's been much more of a centrist. Kerry turns out to be have been 100% right about the issues facing us today. So tags don't even matter. Kerry is also much more fiscally conservative than Bush. And Kerry would have run a more effective war on terrorism. Back in the 70's and early 80's, the Bushes were pro choice moderates and GW was a drunken coke-snorting party boy. People change.
