Delay might be going to prison so you can probably forget about him going forward. He'll be lucky just to be admonished and voted out of office.

By 2006 he'll be out and he may drag about 30 others with him. Congress now has a 33% approval rating and still sinking. I don't know the exact vote count, but subpeona powers are given to the majority, and even if it's even moderate Repubs could tip the balance. In this case, impeachment proceedings could move forward on a whole host of issues.

Remember, CLinton was impeached for lying about cheating on his wife. And Whitewater was a big nothing about nothing.
Lying about cheating is something half the men in the country do. It's only illegal because he was under oath. Otherwise it's normal behavior.

But what about deliberately cooking up lies to tell the nation in order to provide cover for an invasion of Iraq which was planned even before 9-11? And what about being part of the conspiracy to create the phony energy crisis gouging? These are huge issues. Also, there's the outing of the CIA agent Plame, which is treason. Plus Gannongate for embarrassment factor.
