But it would appear to be an adequate standard for justifying going to war, to just both by this admin and by a number of posters on this board

It is more difficult to get accurate information out of a police state, esp. when the ruler is nuts, than to get information leaked from the US government for a story. People who understand the nature of intelligence know that.

Saddam's own generals thought he had WMD, so every intelligence agency thought so too. But Bush is supposed to have gotten better information from somewhere, the Archangel Gabriel supposedly.
