The left is completely unhinged. And the moonbat insanity starts right at the top. Howard Dean On Meet The Press By Rob on Default Trey Jackson has video up of Howard Dean on Meet The Press. I’ve always thought that it was pretty clear to just about everybody that Osama was the ringleader of that operation. After watching the video, though, I’m pretty sure that Dean meant to say Saddam Hussein instead of Osama bin Laden. He repeated Osama’s name a couple of times without correcting himself, but in the context of what he was saying I’m pretty sure he meant Saddam. Which, even if that is true, Dean is still full of it. Nobody is claiming that Saddam Hussein was responsible in any way for the attacks on 9/11. Bush is certainly not making that claim “up until this day” as Dean asserts. Rather, Saddam’s regime was targeted as one that supported terror in general, which is a big difference. Another interesting part is where Dean talks about the weapons of mass destruction. He says that the WMD’s claim was “not true.” Russert counters by telling Dean that he himself said there were WMD’s in Iraq. Dean immediately tries to spin it by saying, “I said I wasn’t sure” and then following it up with “I said I thought there probably were.” If Dean thought there probably were WMD’s in Iraq, where does he get off criticizing the President for thinking the same thing? sayanythingblog.com treyjackson.typepad.com
