I think people just don't care enough. If they had cared enough they would ALL have marched in the streets and protested the war BEFORE it was a done deal, and an established black hole for our money. Anyone could see the money train was going to be chugging to Iraq if we went on with the war- and almost anyone could have known it was going to be longer and costlier than our leaders would tell us in their propaganda.
