We should always remember that-as Bismarck said-the greatest thing about democracy is that the people get exactly the government they deserve.

The American people re-learned that the hard way again-due to the disgraceful impeachment fix and the 1 to 2 million fabricated Gore votes in 2000. Our people have gone a long way to make amends ever since.

I doubt we will ever see it, but IF they elected Hillary president and IF they elected 51 Senators for her, judicial nominees should STILL get a straight vote, and the filibuster should STILL be banned for judicial confirmations, AS WELL AS for presidential appointees to the administration...
