Brazil to restrict Chinese imports
www.chinaview.cn 2005-05-21 20:38:31

BRASILIA, May 20 (Xinhuanet) -- Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will issue two decrees on the restriction of Chinese imports in a bid to protect domestic industry, the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade announced on Friday.

The two decrees, which will be issued in coming weeks, include one for most products and the other exclusively for textiles. The one for most products will be in effect until 2013 and the one specifically for textile will reach through 2008, the Ministry said in a statement.

However, the restriction measures, including raising tariff and imposing import quotas, will not be taken automatically, the statement said.

According to the statement, Brazilian producers that feel their interests threatened by Chinese imports can demand for an investigation by the Ministry of Development, Industry and ForeignTrade. There is a period between two to eight months set aside for an investigation, and the Chamber of Foreign Commerce will decide on the action to be taken if the threat is confirmed.

According to Brazilian official statistics, imports from China increased by 58 percent in the first four months this year compared to the corresponding period last year, while the increaseof imports from other countries was 21 percent in the same period.Enditem

All Chinese lack logic. <The peaceful reunification of the country has always been the aspiration of all Chinese worldwide for over half a century, said the declaration.

"The secessionist forces of 'Taiwan Independence' and their activities have increasingly become the biggest real danger to peace and stability across the Taiwan Straits and also the biggest scourge to the process of peaceful unification of China," said the declaration
>

They say all Chinese are for reunification, then they say that there are secessionist forces for Taiwan Independence. So, the secessionists are obviously not Chinese. Brianh, your time is up, come in and hand over your Chinese certificate. You are no longer Chinese.

If all Chinese are for peaceful reunification, then all Chinese lack logic, because Brianh is indisputably Chinese and so are many others who are not for reunification, either peaceful or by mass murder.

If all Chinese are as illogical as BtB and YtM, then China's prosects for ruling the world are poor.
