Bush's Iraq War has failed. Deal with it. Calling critics of Bush pro-terrorist is not only entirely dishonest it's immature and silly. The war in Iraq has hurt the real war on terror. Bush promised to take care of Al Qaida and instead changed the subject. According to the reports out of Pakistan, we have absolutely no operations underway hunting for the Al Qaida leaders. Nothing. That is mainly because of the mess in Iraq.

Halfwit AmSpirit never met a Muslim beheader he didn't like.

I wasn't aware that conservatives had a significant problem with beheading/amputations. Saudi Arabia uses beheading for capital punishment. The State Department used to report the number of amputations that were performed as punishment, but the Bush Administration ceased that practice.

Virtually all the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi;
OBL was a Saudi and a member of the Saudi Royal family [not to mention reports that he continued to receive funds from members of the Saudi Royal family];
Recent reports indicate that the majority of foreign fighters in Iraq are Saudi nationals.

If GW strolls, holding hands, with the Prince at Crawford, the least you can do is lighten up on this beheading stuff. Bush might very well consider taking up the practice in the US.

He might even do a little paraphrasing of the Saudi statement on the subject. Saudi Arabian opinion is that capital punishment is the most effective way of safeguarding the most basic human right: the right to life. It places a high value on the life of the murder victim and, as evidence of that high value and as a deterrent to others, it exacts a high price from the murderer.

US conservatives already agree with that view.
