Yup...that's how it seems to me.
One thing about studying nature in a very in depth way ~
It's not long before you become aware of how all things
are "limited" in some way -- whether that be through
lack of appropriate habitat, food, or water.
And if that doesn't do the trick, then it's usually disease,
or predators,
or some other factor that comes into play.
