This is why a lot of us in the AK would prefer an all-Alaska pipeline route: those Canadians are freaking crazy. It'll never get built. And if it does, since they won't have nearly as much interest in the money flow as we do, it's more likely to be shut off for some political reason.

It was only a few years ago that they blocked a bunch or our state ferries in port at Prince Rupert (if I recall the location correctly). And we're constantly feuding with them over fisheries.
