Hi Slagle,

I think there are two approaches to shorting QQQQ. Keep in mind that shorting a strongly uptrending stock or index requires one to be very nimble!!!

Anyhow, the more aggressive approach would be to short QQQQ just after the peak formed just before 3pm, after the stochastic crossover from extreme overbought terrritory. Note also there was a moderate surge of volume near those peaks, which adds some confidence in the signal. The stochastic crossover was the sell signal.

The more conservative approach would be to short QQQQ as soon as it fails at intraday support. I think a good intraday support level is the 40 ema:
