Vietnam was lost by the people who led us, not by the people who protested. Vietanm was a civil war even though there were two nation states involved. Little if any US interests existed there. I am not here to glorify the North but even half million american troops in combat couldnt get the war won. Iraq is totally different and it is incumbant upon us to do what we can to get a reasonably good outcome.
