What does Murrow's comment have to do with the current state
of the unhinged liberal MSM today?

...."How did we ever win the cold war with SO many anti-American liberal media types around?"

No doubt there was some luck involved. But it did take a
President with some backbone & a majority of Americans who
supported Reagan despite the best efforts of the liberal MSM
& the liberal left.

...."Maybe the right wing media bashers are actually wrong about the 'liberal media'. Maybe the media is just good at reporting the truth."

So you opine once again. And how do you conclude that the MSM
is doing a good job of getting to the truth when they
continually get caught lying, deceiving, distorting,
intentionally misleading & they consistently report the
liberal POV favorably & they make damn sure the conservative
POV is presented as negatively as possible on most issues?

This thread had documented hundreds of irrefutable examples
of obvious liberal bias in the MSM. As I have pointed out to
you based on the events of the last couple of weeks that
anyone who clings to the misperception that there is no overt
liberal bias in the MSM is either willfully ignorant, in deep
denial or simply is not paying attention at all.

I'll say it again. "None are so blind as those who will not see."

And I'll point out for the last time that you are not welcome
to make unsubstantiated opinions on this thread. And using
the word "maybe" is just splitting hairs to make an
unsubstantiated point - one that has no basis in fact or
reality.

So unless you can point us to clear evidence that supports
your POV, please admit this assertion was merely your own
personal opinion.

....."The evidence of a Republican majority in the House of Representatives, Republican majority in the Senate, and a Republican White House seems to support this fact."

What "fact"? Is your baseless opinion suddenly fact? And how
does the number of Republicans have to do with obvious, well
documented media bias?

No doubt you can point us to all manner of credible evidence
to support this, right? Or is this just another of your
baseless personal opinions?

What say you?

Democrats will soon learn that promoting ignorance is a losing strategy.

Terry Moran, ABC’s White House reporter, in an interview with radio host and blogger Hugh Hewitt: “There is, I agree with you, a deep antimilitary bias in the media, one that begins from the premise that the military must be lying and that American projection of power around the world must be wrong.”

For an object lesson on Old Media liberal bias, read the transcript of the May 17 press briefing by White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan.
