You take the word of fanatical terrorists to make that assertion. Interesting. FWIW, we have been attacked elsewhere (American interests) & we have thwarted terrorist attacks in America & against American interests since 9/11. OBL has reiterated his war on us repeatedly since 9/11. He has stated his desire to kill or subjugate every one of us multiple times since 9/11. Abu Musab al-Zarqawi has also stated his intentions to attack Americans on our soil. We have arrested & convicted individuals & groups of terrorists inside America who were Al Qaeda operatives. There have been numerous attacks by terrorists against other countries. And many other countries have arrested & broken up terrorist cells in this GWOT. And how do you explain away the shoe bomber Richard Reid? These facts run counter to your opinion that somehow the GWOT no longer exists or is viable because there have been no (successful) attacks on American soil since 9/11.
