Peter, Republicans are the party of the future and of the present.

And that drives Democrats out of their minds, because they are convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that the present and the future, as it stands now, is literally hell.


Actually, what drives an independent out of his mind are posts like this one. ;~)

Republicans control the agenda. President Bush is pushing for reform of a scandalously mismanaged Social Security program. President Bush is getting some judicial appointments through that actually believe the Constitution is relevant today. Republicans are leading while Democrats are left to criticize the good that is being done by America and Americans.
