Just saw a series of pretty good sized volume spikes, and the biggest was exactly where I want it.

I do believe we just hit the high of the session at $37.92, at about 12:05.

That might end up being the exact best short entry right there.

We'll see.....

Light crude spiking close to $50 now, evidently somehow related to talk that al Zarqawi might be wounded or captured, raising the possibility of retaliation in the oil fields.

I think a much simpler explanation is oil is in a long-term uptrend, successfully tested chart support after correcting for the last 6 or 7 weeks, and is now regathering upwards momentum from extreme oversold levels for a test of overhead down the road apiece:
