Same BS as the smearvets telling us there were no atrocities in Vietnam and John Kerry was a "traitor" for informing the nation how nuts things had become. Kill the messengers of truth. That's the rightwing way. Preserve the grand illusion. Encourage delusion. Worship the perfect myth. Same thing totalitarian governments do. Discourage the truth and encourage the official party line. Problem is, the definition of insanity is believing in a reality which doesn't exist.
