it seemed incredible that chavez would propose nuclear power projects, but after searching through venezuelan newspapers in spanish, i can verify that he actually did.

the reuters article posted by taikun is a bit slanted, as it seems to emphasize cooperation with iran more than brazil, europe, and argentina.

a director at Enarsa in argentina has expressed interest in cooperation with venezuela on a nuclear project, which seems to give a different context to the term "argentina with nukes".
