never heard of a smoker who quit because of pricing.

US$43/carton is a heck lot cheaper than A$90/carton. US$18/carton is an even better deal, when delivered out of Switzerland.

I think when i started smoking as a kid both a gallon of gas and a pack of cigarets were about 25 cents, a hot dog and a slice of pizza was about 15 cents as was a token for the NYC subway. I remember my dad telling me about how expensive things had gotten since he was a kid. Any cheaper, it seemed to me then, things might as well be given away. mike

Ish, Find an Indian reservation, and you will find a Smoke Shop, where cartons are sold tax free because of the tax break allowed to native Americans. I save 25% at the Seminole smoke shop in back of the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. It's only about 2 miles from our house.

Is your climate suitable for growing your own tobacco? I am pretty sure that Northern Virginia is still a great place to grow good tobacco, but I don't smoke. Used to be Virginia's cash crop.

I did plant one variety of nicotiana, Indian Peace Pipe, because I love the way the flowers smell at night.

These people sell wild tobacco seeds:
