Market Pulse: Intel attempts to stretch win streak to 10 sessions

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Intel rose 13 cents, or 0.5%, to $26.63 in an attempt to stretch its win streak to 10 sessions, and to post its 17th gain in the last 18 sessions. The stock was last up $1.96, or 7.9%, since the May 10 close ($24.67), which was the last time the stock lost ground. Over the past 18 sessions, the Dow industrials component has gained $3.44, or 15%, vs. a 4.2% rise in the Dow .
