It is my hope that the outcome will be a liberal democracy that will produce seed for more of the same; that would be ideal. That isn't to say that everyone who participates is a good guy or that all operations that lead to such an outcome are ideal.

It is counter productive, except in the historian sense, to harp on past problems encountered enroute.
