Possibly. The Jews remained Jews for two thousand years of exile, after all. I doubt the Pal identity has such a staying power - after all the Jewish identity had over a thousand years of history behind it when the Jews were exiled; the Pal identity has less than 50; but twt.

You conflate 'Jews' in your post with zionists

Most Jews are Zionists. No matter how many post-Zionist lefties and ultra-orthodox believers and outright cranks you dredge up who aren't Zionists, the fact remains that the vast majority of Jews a) identify themselves as members of one people, and b) are Zionists.
