Torture is abhorrent both to American law and values and to international norms. This universal repudiation of torture is reflected in our criminal law; international agreements, exemplified by the United Nations Convention Against; customary international law, centuries of Anglo-American law and the longstanding policy of the United States, repeatedly and recently reaffirmed by the President, who has stated, “"Torture anywhere is an affront to human dignity everywhere." (US Dept. of Justice)

Then why do they allow political ads? If torture were really abhorrent, pol ads would be the first to go. ;d)
