I think the large cap tech companies have been so out of favor that they experienced a large drop in PE ratios over the last 5 years. It was overdone. Now the market is coming back around to that conclusion. This seems to me to be classic sector rotation. It was simply large cap tech's turn after so many years of correction. The large cap tech stocks look undervalued given their long term potential as 1K pound gorillas in their fields: Intel, MSFT, Dell, Cisco, etc.

$25 Cisco here we come. :)
