Ish, I knew that there were a couple of tribes that were once in your area, but never knew what happened to them. While we were up there the last time, we went to Starving Rock and learned some about the Illinois tribe that mostly died out there.

Speaking of Tribes.

There is a wonderful article in the Seattle Times, and posted at their web site, about the ancient Tse-whit-zen tribe. The site has some interactive features, diagrams and illustrations and a really good write up. Take a look at the interactive villiage.
