I think you can flush a book down a toilet a few pages at a time. I don't think we have enough details to determine that some idiot tried to flush the whole thing. But just putting a Koran near a toilet would have been extremely insulting. Muslims wash up before even touching one. It is not allowed to touch the ground, even.

I don't know, I own an antique pocket bible and I think if it went against a modern industrial strength toilet and you went WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH it might go down, particularly if you let it soak for a few minutes as the pages are weak and ready to fall apart.

I think we need a scientific study of this issue. Anyone want to give it a try and risk the express train to hell?
