I smoke OP from time to time -- maybe 5-6 cigarettes a year. I had a harder time quitting but was motivated by pregnancy, so after a couple of weeks of clinching my fists into balls and digging my nails into my palms, it was over.

Now I think of cigarettes as a fun option. My husband and I rarely go to bars but sometimes will for Happy Hour because they have half price oysters, and I say, "I am going to buy a pack of cigarettes" but I never do.

I bum cigarettes once in awhile too. I stopped 9 years ago. Relapsed last year for about 5 months, then stopped again....except for the two I had last week with a friend, and not coincidentally paired with a glass of wine.-g-

I'm thinking of starting again for the summer camping season (nothing better than a campfire, a glass of Wild Spirit and a cigarette) but if I do...which is very much up in the air.... I will quit when I'm force back inside next fall.

I'm loving these true confessions.
