PLUS the Republicans are already reneging on their side of the deal and threatening to start the entire process all over again. Dems have to understand once and for all that the Republicans are liars and extremists and cannot be trusted for a nanosecond.

It's entirely possible that Frist didn't have the votes and this 'compromise' got in these incompetent judges.

If he does the exact same thing again, he can get in the others.

The other side of the argument says that Frist let down his master (aka the christofascists) in favor of his other master the real fasicsts. If the nuclear option gets started again, the Dems should just shut down the Senate using whatever obscure rules and delaying tactics they can.

They can't let it get this far again.

My only hope is that the Dems may be saving the big fight for the Not So Supreme Court nominees.

In my view the Dems caved, but what else hasn't changed lately?
