Maybe the US needs to be a little more proactive and offer police training to the various countries in CA so they have the means and know how to fight these gangs. They're certainly a scary bunch. Very glad to read that we have somewhat of a handle on them here and that we don't seem to have a problem apprehending them. It sounds like the maras/pandillas need their own personal prison too. Maybe that is something that could be attached to CAFTA? Thanks for posting the article.
