That's nice that you're helping out the school no matter what. If more parents would do this, we'd have a better school system. My daughters school had an environmental fair that raised money for all the middle schools in our district....all three of them.<g> It was fun and messy but it was for a good cause. I was saddened but not surprised to see how many of the volunteers stayed to help with clean up. Only one of the parents who signed on stayed, that was me. It took us (two teachers, their three kids, me and my daughter) three hours to clean everything up.
