China to invest US$1.5bn to Uzbek economy UzReport.com [07:13] 25.05.2005 China will invest over US$1.5 billion to Uzbekistan’s economy, an Uzbek TV reported on 25 May. During the visit of Uzbek leader to China, nine documents would be signed between Uzbek and Chinese companies, which envisage investment of US$1.5 billion to Uzbekistan, the report said. Uzbekneftegaz and China National Petroleum Corp will sign an agreement worth a total investment of US$600 million to establish a joint venture. uzreport.com
