Couldn't agree more on what the original G Dub said, abstract.

IMO, our leadership seems to be currently driven by it's deep seated religious beliefs and assumes that they were swept into their second term by like brethren.

Not so. And I for one will be the first to say so.

Personally speaking, George's (Bush) actions vis-a-vis his religious beliefs, are grating to say the very least.

I somehow don't think I'm in the heathen minority, either.

In any event, I think both statements are quite valid.
