Why were Galileo and Capernicus put to death? Because they were branded heretics by the Authority of the day for thinking about and discussing forbidden topics. We do the same thing today. If you try to discuss border controls you are branded a racist. That is supposed to stop discussion because racism is a forbidden topic. I don't want to be branded a racist for raising a topic. Pulling out the 'biggot card' to stop discussion is a corruption of our freedoms. However, the grain of truth exists there too. We should not be forbidden to ever use the word biggot when and where it applies. Let's keep our discussion going, lets keep thinking openly and honestly. If the word applies, lets use it to accurately and truthfully label conduct that deserves it. And take our stand on noble ground.

Let's be honest here.....a group of people from a certain religion have declared war on you, me and everything this country stands for. I know of no other religion which has done the same. Do you expect to win by convincing all those billion Muslims that you hate them all and intend to kill them? Or by convincing them that there is a small fraction of hotheads among them that attacked you and continue to attack you and you intend to stop THEM? No other religion? How about Christianity and the Crusades? We confidently reply that those who ..... shall die in battle fighting bravely against pagans or unbelievers, shall receive eternal life. During the Civil War Confederate soldiers shot and killed American soldiers EVERY DAY! Shall we go down and lynch all Southerners? In the IRA uprising, Northern Irish and British troops were killed nearly EVERY DAY. Should they have exterminated the Irish? To quote a religious teacher "He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone." a group of people from a certain religion have declared war on you, me and everything this country stands for.
