I'd modify that just a little. Get Custer Battles, one of the not-as-corrupt-as-bechtel-and-halliburton-ites, to hire illegal immigrants as mercenaries. Bush wants to turn everything into a private enterprise, so, we already have 10-15K mercenaries running around Iraq why not 40K more? Why not 100K more? Is driving us further into massive deficit to Communist China worse than trying to get the draft instituted? Bush knows this: 1. He can get as much money as he wants from Congress. The spineless dems and the corrupt reps will sign anything that has the words 'US TROOPS' in it. 2. He can take that money and give a cost-plus, no-compete contract to Republican-backed corrupt mercenary outfits. They assign $200K/soldier, pay out $40K/soldier and pocket the difference. They then slide a few million into Republican-backing campaign coffers as payment. 3. The war keeps going. The US Taxpayer can't figure out why they're running so hard and getting behinder and RepublicanReptiles at the top of the heap find that 'public service' is a way to become a multimillionaire (ask Condi and Cheney). ======== We are SO in decline.
