That is so true!

It's fascinating that none of them were Iraqi. Or at least I find it so. Would you care to discuss their ethnicity, and what it might mean, as an interesting issue?

Not only were none of those people Iraqi, but none of them were Afghani, either, as I recall. And those two latest prisoners who were tortured to death in Afghanistan by our troops were thought to be innocent by most of their captors.

A whole lot of innocent people have been imprisoned by the Americans, including children. None of these people had anything at all to do with 9/11. And most of the insurgents in Iraq were innocent Iraqi civilians until our bombs killed their families or their neighbors. It is the U.S who aggressively attacked them. It is their fault Saddam Hussein was their leader and they live on top of a lot of oil in a strategic region for U.S. security interests? I don't think so. If another nation invaded America and bombed your baby to smithereens, do you think you would become an agent of that enemy, or somehow fight against them? I'm guessing you would resist.

It is true that now Al Qaida is coming in from Syria, etc., but that is our fault. We created more and more terrorists as we made mistake after mistake in the region. We should have gone after Osama ourselves instead of turning it over to Afghani tribal people, but we didn't want to risk American lives.
