"The Swiss system" Well, managing to postpone voting rights
for women until 197x(?) is maybe not a sign of a "best" system??
I believe one canton managed to hold out almost until 1990??

However, Switzerland has a very special, difficult "situation"
(and "position").

Mainly just "many minorities", which also is the case for many
former colonies,etc..

He-he, one can debate what is worse, "just many minorities" or,
as in Iraq, one majority and "many minorities"??

PS Belgium is another (old) special case with two major groups,
based on language and economics.
They use "closed party-list" PR for that reason, UK-US-style
FPTP would be "disastrous"??
