That's a very nice little review of Sach's book, The End of Poverty. I am always surprised when our righteous Christians and conservatives never even comment when the discussion turns to what Jesus' values were. I wonder if any of them bothered to read the review. I discovered this book a few months ago because its author is working with Bono, U2's lead singer, on his projects to end poverty in Africa. Bono is a devout Catholic and is acting based on his understanding that Christians are supposed to act as Jesus would have, and Jesus cared about and for the poor.
