Did you miss all the press yesterday about Amnesty International's report declaring Guantanamo the new Gulag? I know the fiction that a few low level recruit morons have committed all the human rights abuses placates you somehow, but as time goes by I think we will all see how these things start at the very top. Certainly "rendering" detainees to third countries deliberately and secretly so that the third countries can torture the detainees, which is a human rights violation, emanates from the top levels of the Bush administration/Pentagon.
