Nope, the sky won't fall. But we will be in a whole heap of a mess. What with people up to their eyeballs in debt, jobs getting shipped abroad, huge budget deficits as far as the eye can see and a war that is slowly bleeding us to death.

If the sky fell on us it would be a lot easier. But it won't.
