"The use of federal dollars to destroy life is something I simply do not support," Bush said at the White House. I reckon that doesn't apply to bombs bought with federal dollars, eh? Anyway, we love the veto, out here in the Bear Flag Republic. We will look fondly back on those days when the US was as scientifically advanced as we were, and laugh about it's fall to the fundies.

I think the bill should be rewritten so that researchers have to fish the embryos out of the dumptster. That would force Bush to admit his logic is ridiculous.
