Let me assist you, since you meant "no offense": I don't understand why you consistently condemn what this country does no matter how noble the objective, and consistently defend offenses against it, or the people who built it and make it what it is, no matter how atrocious. It is tiresome. ....... Perhaps now you will be less "baffled"- or perhaps not, in which case we probably just shouldn't post to each other. You don't know me well enough to know what I consistently condemn or defend- and it's rude to make global statements about people (imo) especially when you don't really know the person, and haven't read everything they've written. I'm not interested in defending my life- not on SI and not elsewhere, and people who want to go on the offensive about what I might "consistently do" are offensive in the extreme to me. If you want to talk about specific issues, then we can talk issues- but I am NOT interested in getting personal, not about me, and not about you, and not about anyone else. I get less and less interested in saying anything personal, no matter how neutral, the more the personal stuff ratchets up.
