It sounds like the FBI agent was quoting what the detainee said. That doesn't make it factual. "Personally, he has nothing against the United States. The guards in the detention facility do not treat him well. Their behavior is bad. About five months ago, the guards beat the detainees. They flushed a Koran in the toilet," the FBI agent wrote. The people held in Guantanamo are there for being suspected Taliban or Al Qaida fighters. They have a vested interest in attacking the US any they can, including making charges of abuse. It is reasonable to give them little credit for truthfulness. "The Pentagon stated last week it had received "no credible and specific allegations" that U.S. personnel at Guantanamo had put a Koran in the toilet." I see no reason to disbelieve them.
