There is no perfect candidate. Never has been one.
Bush is a poor candidate in many ways. And oil money isn't everything. Phil Gramm went nowhere.

On paper, Kerry-Edwards was almost perfect. But who knows? Maybe McCain will win by a landslide or not even be a factor. Many people predicted Lieberman would be president. Hillary Clinton seems very unlikely but who knows if people are really voting to bring back Bill. or someone could come from out of left field like Howard Dean did.

I still haven't seen anyone better than Kerry. But am open minded. I know Kerry made a few mistakes. But he won't make them a second time.
